§ 01Platform
How an investigation is built.
AnKre runs specialist AI agents over a shared knowledge graph, then puts their output in front of a human reviewer. Each stage adds to the same record, so nothing arrives in the final report without a path back to where it came from.
§ 02The pipeline
Collect — The collection agent plans and runs the search across registries, regulatory filings, public records and client documents, recording the source as the material arrives.
Identities resolved, relationships drawn.
Appearances of the same party across registries and filings are merged into one subject, and the links between subjects are drawn from the records themselves — so ownership, control and association can be read at a glance and followed back to the document behind each edge.
Hover or select a node to isolate its relationships and read the evidence attached to it — node type, source, retrieval date, status and the agent that wrote it.
01
Collection
The collection agent gathers material from corporate registries, regulatory filings, public records and documents supplied by the client. It plans and runs the repetitive groundwork; sources are recorded as the material arrives.
02
Evidence structuring
The document agent reads what was collected and writes it into the knowledge graph as structured evidence rather than loose files, so each item can be referenced, dated and attached to the claim it speaks to.
03
Identity resolution
The same person or organisation may appear differently across sources. The identity agent resolves those appearances into a single subject node, so evidence is attributed to the right party.
04
Relationship mapping
The relationship agent draws edges between people and organisations across the material, surfacing ownership, control and association that no single record shows on its own — each edge carrying the record behind it.
05
Claim checking
The claim-checking agent tests stated claims against the graph. Each check records what the evidence supports, what it contradicts and what it cannot settle.
06
Human review
Analysts review, accept, question or reject what the agents produced. Their decisions are part of the record, not a separate step outside it — and no agent output ships unreviewed.
07
Drafting and delivery
An evidence-constrained drafting agent is designed to keep generated narratives tied to documented findings and clearly identified gaps, producing executive notes, detailed reports, evidence packs and audit trails.
§ 03On automation
The agents carry the collection and the cross-checking. They do not carry the conclusion.
Each agent plans the checks its job calls for, runs them across the sources connected to the case, writes what it finds into the shared knowledge graph and records what it could not settle. Open-source and public-record research, document handling and repetitive verification all run this way. Everything produced stays attached to its origin and its retrieval date, and reaches a reviewer as a proposal to accept, question or reject — never as a settled fact.
§ 04Questions buyers ask
- How is AnKre different from a screening database?
- A screening database returns matches against lists it already holds. AnKre runs an investigation: analysis agents collect from registries, filings, public records and the documents you supply, structure what they find as evidence in a knowledge graph, then test the claims in question against it. The output is a reasoned finding with its sources attached, not a match score.
- What does the AI actually decide?
- Nothing. The agents plan and run the groundwork (searching, reading, reconciling identities, drawing relationships, checking claims) and record what they could not settle. Every output reaches a human reviewer as a proposal to accept, question or reject, and that decision becomes part of the record.
- Can a finding be traced back to its source?
- Yes. Each finding carries the claim, the evidence behind it, the source it came from, the retrieval date, a confidence level and the reviewer's action. The chain can be reconstructed after the fact, which is what makes a report defensible months later.
- What happens when the evidence is inconclusive?
- It is stated rather than smoothed over. Findings are marked supported, unresolved or contradicted, and the limits of the investigation are written into the report instead of being left implicit.
- Where does the material come from?
- Corporate registries, regulatory filings, public records and documents supplied by the client. Data providers are modular, so the sources connected to a case can differ by jurisdiction and by the depth the case calls for.
- How long does an investigation take?
- The agents carry the repetitive collection and cross-checking, which is the part that usually consumes the days. Review time depends on the case and stays with your analysts: AnKre shortens the groundwork, not the judgement.
